In a heartfelt Eid-l-Fitr message, the Chairman of Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon Rasaq Ajala (HRA), has called upon the Muslim Ummah to sustain the spirit of Ramadan beyond the holy month, emphasizing the values of patience, prayer, and gratitude.
Addressing Muslims worldwide, HRA highlighted the significance of Eid-el-Fitr as a time for celebration, reflection, and strengthening communal ties.
The council boss emphasized that fasting during Ramadan goes beyond abstaining from food, symbolizing self-discipline, spiritual renewal, and a deepened connection with the divine.
“Eid-l-Fitr,” he expressed, “is a canvas for expressing gratitude and weaving bonds of love and kindness.”
The chairman urged Muslims not to forsake the virtues of kindness, generosity, and forgiveness cultivated during Ramadan but to carry them forward into daily life.
“The beauty of patience, the power of prayer, and the grace of gratitude should remain with us after Ramadan,” he emphasized.
Hon Ajala also called for prayers for peace, harmony, and prosperity within the nation, wishing that the conclusion of Ramadan and Eid-l-Fitr would bring abundant blessings, joy, and acceptance of prayers from Allah.
