Nigeria police officers have participated in the US Special Program for Embassy Augmentation Response (SPEAR) team mission held in Amman, Jordan, which ran from March 10th to April 3rd, 2024.
The intensive training, conducted by U.S. Navy Seals, focused on refining the officers’ abilities to handle diverse critical situations effectively.
Under the leadership of Squadron Commander ACP Itse Daniel Amah, the Nigerian contingent engaged in rigorous tactical drills and assessments, setting a new benchmark in professional development within the force.
The program encompassed a comprehensive curriculum covering emergency response protocols and strategic decision-making, contributing to a well-rounded learning experience.
Commander Amah expressed pride in his team’s performance, remarking that they were hailed as the best cohort ever trained under such a program.
