In a move aimed at enhancing community engagement and bolstering strategic communication, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, has greenlit a comprehensive reshuffling of Police Public Relations Officers (PPROs) across Commands and Formations nationwide.
Additionally, the IGP has designated a new Deputy Force Public Relations Officer to spearhead initiatives at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
The appointed officers have been charged with upholding professionalism and nurturing strong ties with the public to promote trust and collaboration.
Among the key appointments, CSP Isuku Victor Edailokun assumes the role of Deputy Force Public Relations Officer at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
This pivotal position underscores the importance of effective communication and outreach at the national level.
Further deployments include DSP Ukandu Joshua to PPRO Ebonyi, ASP Buhari Abdullahi to PPRO Gombe, ASP John Timfon to PPRO Akwa-Ibom, and ASP Hundeyin Isaac Sewanu to PPRO Ports Authority Police (Western) Lagos. Each officer’s assignment reflects the IGP’s strategic vision to revitalize the police force’s public image and engagement capabilities.
