Nigerian artiste, Naira Marley, has addressed his critics with a defiant message, emphasizing his resilience and promising more to come.
In an Instagram post, he declared, “Marlians 4 Life,” and encouraged his detractors to prepare for what he has in store, stating, “Dear haters, I have so much more for you to be mad at. Just be patient.”
This statement follows a viral video featuring Naira Marley and socialite Sam Larry participating in a prayer session led by an Ilorin-based cleric, Sheikh Hamad Labeeb.
The cleric prayed for the late Mohbad, a former signee under Naira Marley’s label, prompting speculation about their involvement in Mohbad’s demise based on their reactions.
It’s pertinent to note that Naira Marley and Sam Larry were previously detained on suspicion of involvement in Mohbad’s death and spent over five weeks in police custody before meeting bail conditions on November 17th.
Their release, confirmed by the State Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin, marked the satisfaction of terms set by a Lagos State Magistrate’s Court.
Despite public scrutiny, Naira Marley and Sam Larry celebrated their freedom at an event shortly after their release, initiating a charity campaign in an attempt to regain public favour.
