Bright Minds Schools had an eventful first week of resumption, filled with various activities and opportunities for students to engage and excel. From Monday to Friday, students and pupils were immersed in a range of events and educational exercises that set the tone for an exciting term ahead.
On Monday, the atmosphere at Bright Minds Schools was filled with anticipation and excitement as students and pupils were welcomed back by the teachers and the school principal, Mr Ivo Timothy.
Mr Timothy introduced the theme for the term, which is “Accountability and Service.” This theme aims to instil in students the importance of taking responsibility for their actions and making a positive impact in their community. Additionally, the principal introduced an anti-bullying pledge, emphasizing the school’s commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all.
Tuesday saw an informative and interactive orientation session for the college students. The principal took the opportunity to guide the students through the expectations and goals for the term. During this session, Compartment Ambassadors were appointed for each class.
These ambassadors will serve as leaders and liaisons between their classmates and the school administration, fostering a sense of accountability and unity within their respective groups.
Wednesday morning brought an exciting blend of sports and academic activities. Students participated in a range of sporting activities, allowing them to showcase their physical skills and promote teamwork.
The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and friendly competition. Following the sports activities, students transitioned into academic activities, ensuring a balanced and holistic approach to their development.
Thursday was dedicated to enhancing students’ vocabulary and spelling abilities. Each class was provided with a list of 50 words to study and prepare for the upcoming Spelling Bee, which will be held during Week 3. This exercise aims to improve students’ language skills and boost their confidence in public speaking.
To further enhance students’ public speaking abilities, Friday’s activities focused on developing their oratory skills. Each student was assigned a topic to speak about during the morning assembly presentation. This exercise encourages students to articulate their thoughts and ideas confidently, while also fostering a supportive environment where their peers can learn from their presentations.
As the first week of the term comes to a close, Bright Minds Schools expresses gratitude for the success of the week’s activities. The school extends their well wishes to all their pupils and students for a blissful weekend. Bright Minds Schools also takes this opportunity to thank their esteemed parents for their continued support and pledges to serve them even better in the future.
With a dynamic and engaging start to the term, Bright Minds Schools sets the stage for a promising and productive academic term. Students and pupils can look forward to a stimulating and fulfilling learning experience as they continue to thrive and grow in this nurturing educational environment.
