These critical agencies, falling under the ambit of the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy, are poised for a transformation with the appointment of new executive directors.
For the Nigerian Ports Authority, the dynamic Ms. Vivian C. Richard Edet assumes the role of Executive Director, Finance and Administration.
The maritime sector will be guided by the experienced Engr. Olalekan Badmus, who takes the helm as the Executive Director of Marine and Operations.
Engr. Ibrahim Abba Umar joins the team as the Executive Director of Engineering and Technical Services.
Over at the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, a strategic lineup is in place to drive key sectors.
Mr. Jibril Abba is appointed Executive Director of Maritime Labour and Cabotage Services, Mr. Chudi Offodile assumes the role of Executive Director of Finance and Administration, and Engr. Fatai Taye Adeyemi takes charge as the Executive Director of Operations.
In a statement released by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Tinubu, it was announced that the appointments were made with the utmost confidence in the new executives’ impressive profiles.
