Ghali Umar Na’Abba, the 8th speaker of Nigeria’s green chamber and a prominent political figure, has passed away at the age of 65 in Abuja on Wednesday morning.
Born on September 27, 1958, Ghali Na’Abba had a distinguished career in Nigerian politics, notably serving as the speaker of the house of representatives during the tenure of President Olusegun Obasanjo.
His contributions to the political landscape were marked by a commitment to public service and a dedication to the principles of democracy.
Educated at the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Na’Abba held a Bachelor’s degree in political science.
